Do you ever talk to yourself when alone? Mutter “good God” when you read a stunning twist of plot in a book or shout “holy shit!” when you open a bill? Do you swear aloud after an argument on the phone? Have you ever threatened a telemarketer after hanging up? Do you struggle with your private thoughts and discuss them with your loved ones at night as is considered healthy? Do you have friends that you discuss your private thoughts and ideas in your home? Does your subconscious cause you to talk in your sleep? Everyone does one or more of these things.

I saw a minor subject of one of my articles posing for a picture with a white supremacist who sued me and lost. That is never funny. David Hogg, a spokesperson for the Parkland survivors and therefore for gun control, was happy to be seen in a widely circulated twitter picture with Jason Lee Van Dyke, the embattled lawyer for the Proud Boys.

One thing needs to be clear before any analysis of the powers behind the sudden rise of the March for our Lives movement is presented. The survivors who appear to lead the protest movement are not crisis actors as some conspiracy nuts have alleged. They are traumatized young people that really saw their friends murdered in a real event perpetrated by a really evil person. Their pain is real, their loss is real, but so is the cynical manipulation of the public mind by the powerful men and women who boosted them into the public limelight.

The Senate is close to bi-partisan approval of new gun control legislation in the wake of the Orlando Pulse massacre carried out by former prison guard and private military contractor Omar Mateen. There had been opposition from both sides of the aisle on the use of the already existing “no-tfly list” as a basis for prohibiting the purchase of firearms by certain people. The no fly-list is secret. How someone gets put on it is secret. How someone gets off it is impossible. The new list will be based on something called the “Selectee List.” This list is even more chilling.

I own firearms. I'm a leftist. Not a #feelthebern leftist. Bernie is too far to the right for me. Because of my politics, men have come to my home to kill me. This has happened more than once. When it did happen the only things that saved my life, and the lives of my roommates, were training and the physical possession of effective tools.
