Calculated Right Wing Tantrum Libel Suits Part One: MAGA Hat Kid's Parents begin lawsuits against 50 reporters and media outlets

On Friday February 1st, the attorneys in the service of the parents of the micro-bigot so-called MAGA hat kid Nick Sandman announced their intention to sue The New York Times, GQ Magazine, Heavy.com, HBO, The Atlantic, and a total of 50 reporters and news outlets over their coverage of the young Catholic bigot's confrontation with Native Elder Nathan Phillips in Washington DC last month. The list includes Presidential hopeful Senator Elizabeth Warren alongside Hollywood celebrities Alyssa Milano and Jim Carrey.

The yearly festival that New Yorker Magazine, for those readers who, like myself, do not attend, is a $40 an hour set of presentations on Art, Literature, Culture, Politics and “everything in between.” Looking at the past lineups and current presentations it seems to be what happens when a Ted Talk and NPR's All Irrelevant Things Considered made babies in a radioactive clone vat. Thanks to this year's gaff one can finally understand why the iconic covers only actually appear as bathroom wallpaper: Looking at all this can help you poop.

 

Newly Re-Vamped Atlantic Magazine calls for the Violent Suppression of Anti-Fascist Activists in Major Editorial

It has been ten days since The Atlantic, a flagship liberal publication since it's founding in 1857 in Boston, was purchased by Laurene Powell Jobs for an undisclosed sum on July 29th. The first issue since this purchase will be lead by a major editorial from their Contributing Editor Peter Beinart. That particular 2200 word screed has already appeared on the Atlantic's website and been boosted on social media at some cost. This can only be seen in context as a declaration of new editorial line, policy and intent.
