Local Residents Hold Rally to Protest the Brutal Beating of Timothy Davis after he was handcuffed by police

It is not easy being number one. Columbus is the best in the nation at only one thing. When it comes to the killing of black people, the Columbus Police Department is the New York Yankees, a dynasty team of history. Although they end more black lives per capita than any other metropolis in the nation, this time they did not extend their Babe Ruth like record as well as they clearly intended.

Neo-Nazi Group Targets Residents in South Campus Area

While some of their members flashed white power hand signs in Houston, members of the neo-nazi group “Ohio Proud Boys” were busy on campus. The Neil Avenue corridor between 10th street and 5th was covered in recruiting fliers. At the same time, several residents found hand drawn swastikas stuffed into their mail slots at their homes, including inside apartment buildings in an obvious attempt at intimidation.

The Columbus Police have new body cameras to increase surveillance not decrease brutality

Officer Zach Rosen shot Henry Green dead in cold blood on his own street last year. He was not indicted and the city and county cared little, waiting as long as they could and refusing to meet with his family. This year Zach Rosen was seen on video running from out of frame to kick a suspect in the head while he was held down by another officer. He got no punishment whatsoever until the video went viral. Then he got a short with pay suspension.

Local Neo-Nazis threaten reporters, openly place graffiti on campus. Police and FBI deny their existence.

Since the public outing of Neo-Nazi leader Andrew Anglin's mail drop on the 15th of last month, a great deal has been going on behind the scenes and in the back alleys of Columbus's white supremacist underground. Despite assurances from the FBI to people who have been threatened by Anglin and members of his neo-nazi website the Daily Stormer that he is overseas, likely in Germany, he has surfaced in Columbus Ohio on unknown business.
